No, PBL doesn’t stand for "Pretty Boring Lessons" or "Panic! Bored Learners"! This workshop will help teachers explore the numerous benefits of the implementation of PBL including a greater depth of understanding of concepts, broader knowledge base, improved communication and interpersonal/social skills, increased creativity, and improved writing skills. John Dewey initially promoted the idea of “learning by doing”. During this workshop participants will create their own PBL unit and learn by doing.
