Jefferson County Educational Service Center is seeking to sponsor schools on a student-centered approach as opposed to the typical geographic-based approach; namely, the ability to sponsor schools in economically disadvantaged territory and underserved student populations across Ohio. More specifically, this would include special education, gifted, dropout recovery, and other special circumstances. Models considered would be brick and mortar, blended, and online schools.
