The Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) is an online curriculum provider offering over 250 core and elective courses to students in grades K-12. VLA courses are 100% aligned to Ohio's Content Standards, which are rooted in the National Academic Content Standards. VLA serves students who are credit deficient, home bound, home schooled, incarcerated, or any other reason the superintendent deems necessary. Since 2004, VLA has enrolled over 50,000 students in 173 Ohio school districts. VLA also has students enrolled from all 50 states and 31 countries.
